Questions lenders ask before buying LenderMatch leads
LenderMatch sells real-time HELOC, refinance and VA cash-out refinance leads to licensed lenders. Standard requests go to at most four participating lenders and partner companies, with exclusive programs on request. Below are straight answers on consent, delivery, filters, pricing, returns and contracts.
Updated
What can lenders buy?
Products, who can buy and where the borrowers come from.
What leads does LenderMatch sell?
HELOC and home equity, refinance including cash-out refinance, and VA cash-out refinance. See HELOC leads, refinance leads and VA cash-out leads.
Do you sell purchase leads?
Not yet. The purchase form is coming soon.
Where do the leads come from?
Homeowners reach LenderMatch through search and paid social ads, then fill out the form themselves. Each one fills out a HELOC, refinance or VA cash-out form on lendermatch.io and agrees to be contacted. How requests are generated.
Who can buy LenderMatch leads?
Licensed mortgage lenders, brokers, banks and credit unions only. Include your NMLS ID in the inquiry form.
How do sharing, consent and compliance work?
The questions compliance teams ask first.
Are LenderMatch leads exclusive or shared?
Both are available. Standard requests are shared with at most four participating lenders and partner companies, which is what the borrower agrees to on the form, and never more. Exclusive programs are available on request and priced on request.
Can borrowers see which companies may contact them?
Yes. The consent on every form links to the public partner network page, which names every company that can receive a request. Your company is added there before any request reaches you.
Is there a TrustedForm certificate and a Jornaya LeadiD on every lead?
Both are captured on every form submission, and the TrustedForm certificate ID and Universal LeadiD are passed in the payload.
What happens if a borrower opts out after delivery?
LenderMatch notifies the participating lenders the request was shared with that the borrower revoked consent, within 10 business days at the latest. The process is on the opt-out page.
How long does LenderMatch keep consent records?
Five years. Consent records and the artifacts that prove them are retained for five years, per the privacy policy.
Are these trigger leads?
No. LenderMatch requests come from a form the homeowner fills out, not from a credit bureau, and LenderMatch never pulls the homeowner's credit. See the trigger leads ban for what the 2025 law restricts.
How are leads delivered and filtered?
Speed, format, fields, filters, caps and schedules.
How fast are leads delivered?
In real time: the request posts to your system at the moment the borrower submits the form.
How do I receive leads?
By direct post (JSON or XML, with custom field mapping and envelopes), by ping/post (you bid on the ping and receive the post when you win), or into your CRM or lead management system.
What fields come with each lead?
Contact details, property address, estimated value, property type and use, combined loan-to-value, loan and cash-out amounts, credit range, VA status, phone line grade, and the TrustedForm and Jornaya IDs. The field table is on the network overview.
Can I filter by state, credit, CLTV, loan amount and hours?
Yes. Filters include state, ZIP or city, credit range, property value, property type and use, CLTV, loan and cash-out amounts, VA status and phone line grade, plus delivery days and hours in your time zone.
Can I set daily caps?
Yes. Daily caps can be set overall and per filter group, with weighted priority between your programs.
Do borrowers with a recent bankruptcy or foreclosure come through?
No. Those requests are blocked for all buyers before routing.
How do pricing, returns and contracts work?
All of it in writing before the first request.
How much do HELOC, refinance and VA leads cost?
Pricing is set per program and quoted on request. It depends on the product, your filters and your caps.
What is your return policy?
Returns are reviewed against a written return policy agreed at onboarding. You request a return with a reason, it is reviewed, and approved returns are credited.
Is there a minimum order or commitment?
No set minimum. Price, filters, caps and schedule are set in your insertion order, and you can start with a test program.
What contract is involved?
A master services agreement, plus an insertion order for each program that sets the price, filters, caps and schedule.
How do I get started?
Send an inquiry with your NMLS ID, products and states. We reply by email to talk through fit, pricing and onboarding, and you can start with a test program.
