Your California Privacy Rights
This notice supplements our Privacy Policy and applies to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (the "CCPA").
What we collect
In the last 12 months we have collected, or expect to collect, these categories of personal information:
- Identifiers: name, email address, phone number, IP address
- Personal information under Cal. Civ. Code 1798.80: contact details and the loan-request information you provide, such as property details and approximate balances
- Commercial information: the products you request and your interactions with the Site
- Internet activity: pages viewed, device and browser data, and similar usage information
We collect this information directly from you and automatically from your device when you use the Site. We use it for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy: matching you with participating lenders, operating the Site, communicating with you, and keeping required records.
Sale and sharing
When you submit a request and agree to be contacted, we disclose identifiers and loan-request information to participating lenders, who compensate us for the connection. Under the CCPA's broad definitions, this may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. You have the right to opt out at any time. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes requiring a right to limit.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
To opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, email contact@lendermatch.io with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share." We will process your request within 15 business days. We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as an opt-out of sale and sharing for the browser it comes from.
Your other rights
- Right to know: request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have about you
- Right to delete: request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal exceptions such as consent records we must keep
- Right to correct: request correction of inaccurate personal information
- Right to non-discrimination: we will never treat you differently for exercising your rights
How to exercise your rights
Email contact@lendermatch.io with the subject "Privacy request" and tell us which right you are exercising. We will verify your request using the information we have on file, such as your email address or phone number, and respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent; we will ask for proof of the agent's authority.
