Opt Out
"Stop" should be easy, so here is the whole process. No retention scripts, no hoops.
Stop everything with one email
Email contact@lendermatch.io with the subject "Opt out" from the email address you used on your request, or include the phone number you submitted so we can find it. We will:
- Stop all communications from LenderMatch
- Notify the participating lenders your request was shared with that you have revoked consent to be contacted
- Stop sharing your information going forward
We process opt-outs promptly, and within 10 business days at the latest. Lenders are independently required to honor your revocation once received.
Stop one company
If you only want a specific lender to stop, tell them directly. They are required to honor it. If they don't, tell us at the address above and we will act on it, including removing them from the network if it becomes a pattern.
Stop texts
Reply STOP to any text message from LenderMatch and messages end immediately. See our SMS Terms.
Opt out of sale and targeted advertising
Separate from stopping contact, you can direct us to stop disclosing your personal information to participating lenders for compensation, and to stop using it for targeted advertising. Email the address above with the subject "Do not sell or share" and we will process it within 15 business days.
We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC). If your browser or a browser extension sends a GPC signal, we treat it as an opt out of sale, sharing, and targeted advertising for that browser automatically, with no email required.
Your other privacy rights
Opting out of contact is separate from your rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and from your right to appeal if we turn a request down. We extend those rights to every U.S. resident, not just residents of states that require it. How to use them, how we verify you, our response times, and the appeal process are all in the Your privacy rights section of our Privacy Policy.
California residents can also see Your California Privacy Rights for the specific categories of information we collect and disclose.
A note on timing
If you opted out but a call was already in motion, you may still receive it within a short window. That's mechanics, not defiance. If contact continues after a reasonable period, email us and we will make it stop.
