Spring EQ HELOC rates
Spring EQ does not publish HELOC rates on its fixed-rate or variable-rate HELOC pages. For what borrowers actually paid on HELOCs, see HELOC rates.
How Spring EQ's HELOC works
Spring EQ sells two HELOCs. The fixed-rate HELOC comes with 15, 20 or 30-year terms. The variable-rate HELOC has an option to pay interest only during the draw period. It does not publish draw period lengths.
Spring EQ says you can receive funds in as few as 11 days, measured from a complete application to funding, based on its data from August 1 to October 15, 2025.
Spring EQ HELOC requirements
- Credit score: 640 (“Qualify With As Low As a 640 FICO”).
- Combined loan-to-value: up to 90% of your home's value.
- Line amount: $50,000 to $500,000.
- Property types: not published.
Worked example (our arithmetic): at 90%, a $350,000 home with a $230,000 mortgage leaves up to $85,000 of borrowing room, which clears the $50,000 minimum.
Spring EQ HELOC fees and closing costs
There is no application fee. Spring EQ's HELOCs “come with a lender and an annual fee,” but the amounts are not published, and additional third-party fees may apply. There is no prepayment penalty. Ask for the fee amounts in writing before you compare offers.
Where Spring EQ's HELOC is available
Spring EQ does not publish a full state list on the pages we read, and it does not take applications from every state through its site. Check your state when you request a quote. Spring EQ also offers a home equity loan, which we did not compare for this edition.
